Is RHOA alum Kim Zolciak Biermann scamming her fans? She has long been selling them things that she either claims to use or new/slightly used items from her closet. Yet, is something off with what she is selling to her followers? More so, what is it? Read on for more details.
Is Kim Zolciak Biermann Scamming Fans?
Kim Zolciak Biermann is in desperate need of money and has been for some time now. She and her husband, Kroy Biermann owe over one million dollars to the IRS. More so, they have been hit with additional lawsuits so earning money is vital. Back in May, the couple of over a decade filed for divorce. It got combative and extremely rough but, at the same time, Kim was doing whatever she could to earn money. She went back to promoting an MLM she claimed that she used. Additionally, she expanded The Biermann’s Closet. There, fans of the Bravo family could purchase new or lightly used items from each member.
Now, the mother of six is back with her husband but she is still hustling for cash. Kim Zolciak Biermann took to her Instagram stories to share a bevy of name-brand purses and shoes she was selling for thousands of dollars. However, fans took to Reddit to share that these may be duped products thus Kim is not actually selling real merch. They showed a Chanel bag with the caption: “Oh Kimberly…” A follower immediately chimed in: “She and her daughters are notorious for wearing stuff from DHGate so anyone who buys them is probably getting scammed.”
DHGate is a company out of China where many of the items tend to be counterfeit. So, to try to pawn them off as legit items for thousands seems absurd. Furthermore, Kim was asking people to send the money to her daughter, Brielle Biermann’s Zelle or CashApp. Though there were a lot of items, fans continued to chime in: “I am not an expert, but both Chanels look SUPER fake.” Another added: “Thank you! Cause that bag and those LV boots look real suss.”
‘Trashy’ & ‘Gross’
It was not just that Redditors found the items that Kim Zolciak Biermann was selling to be fake, they had other problems with them, as well. “Everything looks so trashy and gross. Even those coffin nails with tons of bacteria under them,” one person noted. Some noticed that the stitching was off on a Louis Vuitton item. It seems that those who were checking out the merchandise had a very keen eye and could tell that Kim was trying to play them for a fool. They were not buying it at all.
