It seems like Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba is throwing a bit of shade toward one of the Season 32 contestants.

The elimination process often weighs heavily on the judges. Over the weeks, they grow quite attached to certain contestants. And it seems that Carrie Ann Inaba formed a genuine friendship with The Brady Bunch actor Barry Williams. He and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated during Whitney Houston Night.

After the emotional onscreen goodbye, Carrie Ann posted a sweet tribute to her friend on social media. But in the process, some DWTS fans noticed she seriously shaded one of the other contestants. What exactly happened?

The semifinal episode is just a few days away. Many Dancing With The Stars fans felt surprised to see Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold make it this far. And it appears they really weren’t the only ones.

Based on social media activity, it seems like judge Carrie Ann Inaba is also aggravated by the situation.

After Barry Williams officially left the competition, Carrie Ann left sweet words for her friend on Instagram.

“The man, the myth…🪩🕺🏼🪩 @thebarrywilliams You are such a shining star. It’s been a joy to watch you perform each week. You showed us what a true entertainer does when he turns on his star power,” she wrote. I’m sure @theflorencehenderson would have been proud🙏🏼🤍”

Several Instagram users echoed similar sentiments. However, some chose to take the low road and throw jabs at other contestants instead. As per The Sun, Carrie Ann Inaba liked one of the comments suggesting that Harry Jowsey deserved to go home instead.

The publication states that at one point, one of the rude comments was “liked by the author.” But at the time of publication, it appears that she has “unliked” the comment. Perhaps she revealed her true feelings in the moment, but decided liking the comment wasn’t a good look for her.

Eventually, it seems like Carrie Ann became aware of the budding drama. She later wrote in the comments, “Hey everyone, I appreciate you all… but let’s not put down anyone that’s on the show. Everyone who is still on the show has earned their place there.
🤍🙏🏼”
