On Tuesday, People Magazine reported that Jana Kramer and her fiancé Allan Russell are now parents to a healthy baby boy. The couple who got engaged in May have named their baby Roman James Russell.
The country singer and her fiancé shared their gratitude with the publication.
Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell. We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together.
Next, they shared the personal significance of the name they chose for their baby boy.
The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them.
Roman James Russell was born on Monday, November 13. His birth weight was 6 lbs., 1 ounce.
One Tree Hill Alum Had Baby Two Weeks Early
Those Jana Kramer fans who expected her to give birth in early December may be a bit surprised. Her due date was supposed to be December 2. However, she had revealed that she was having a C-section early due to the growth of a fibroid.
Therefore, she gave birth just two weeks shy of her original due date. It should be noted that December 2 is also the Soccer Mom Madam star’s birthday. She will be turning 40 on that day.
Just last month, the couple spent two days in the hospital during a Babymoon. The moment they arrived at their Florida destination, she was whisked to the hospital due to unbearable pain.
It turns out that the former DWTS contestant had a serious kidney infection. Thankfully, all was well with their baby. But, this was far more excitement than the expectant mother anticipated.
