‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton & Caleb Back In Explosive Season 5 Preview
On the weekend, a trailer dropped for the next Season of 1000-Lb Sisters, TLC described Season 5 as “a brand new” one, but a lot of spoilers already arrived. Still, the footage looks explosive and the synopsis talked about Tammy leaving rehab and loads of “family drama.”
1000-Lb Sisters Trailer Shows A Few Happy Moments
The opening scene focused on Tammy Slaton packing up to leave rehab and she said that she had been there “for 14 months.” Actually, fans already heard about that back in February. Excited about getting her trach taken out, she seemed happy about going home. However, the next clip revealed her crying after her husband, Caleb Willingham wasn’t approved to leave. Unfortunately, he has since passed away.
In the trailer for 1000-Lb Sisters Season 5, Tammy Slaton sounded so excited to be at home. However, things became very tense between Amy Slaton Halterman and her husband, Michael. But before that. Chris Combs got the women dressed in black plastic trash bags, so they could work up a sweat while getting fit. So, there was some laughter and happiness. But, it looks like a lot of the show focuses on the bust-up between Amy and Michael.

1000-Lb Sisters Amy Halterman Clashes With Michael
Tammy’s happiness seemed short-lived as Amanda Halterman confronted Michael who’d taken his wife’s debit card. In an escalation of shouting and yelling, they almost came to blows and Amy yelled at him to “get out” of her home. In other scenes of Amanda, she and her sister Misty saw award-winning Dr. Eric Smith. As Chris Combs pointed out, if they got approved the whole family would have gotten weight loss surgery.
1000-Lb Sisters viewers saw that Glenn and Gage were still too much of a handful for Amy Halterman. Notably, Michael still doesn’t help with the kids at all. So, she cried about that to Amanda. In her confessional, she said, “I was overwhelmed and stressed out with everything.”
Cut to Caleb Willingham, who called to tell Tammy that he weighed in at 537 lbs. So, she said that it “bothers” her because “he’s backsliding.”
The last scene revealed Tammy Slaton saying “I’m calling the cops…I’m not playing.” Unfortunately, the kids were in the room where the big fight went down.
