‘Bachelor’ Alum Details Jason & Kaitlyn’s 1st Encounter Post-Split

Kaitlyn Bristowe Stuns In Cowgirl Attire
After ending her engagement to Jason Tartick earlier this summer, Kaitlyn Bristowe is single again. She started dating the contestant from Becca Kurfin’s season of The Bachelorette in early 2019.
Bristowe was fresh off her broken engagement to Shawn Booth when she first met Tartick in October 2018 after he appeared on her Off the Vine podcast.
After dating for two years, Jason Tartick popped the question. They were engaged for another two years before announcing their sudden split in August 2023.
Kaitlyn Bristowe recently attended former Bachelor host Chris Harrison’s wedding reception in Texas on Saturday, November 4. Bristowe leaned heavily into the theme with a cowgirl-inspired outfit.
Donning a peek-a-boo black dress and black boots, she topped the ensemble with a large hat.
However, she wasn’t the only Bachelor Nation alum invited to the reception. Her ex-fiance was there, too.

Bachelor Nation fans still don’t know why Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe broke up. Some fans want them to get back together, but an equal amount think the split was ultimately for the best.
Fellow Bachelor alums Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins were also in attendance and spilled the tea on the reunion on their Almost Famous podcast.

Iaconetti admitted to being “curious” about how the exes would interact. Us Weekly reported that Higgins concurred, saying no one knew the “dynamics” between Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe since their split.
So, how did it go between the formerly engaged couple?
Bachelor Alum Spills Tea
Ashley Iaconetti spilled some hot tea on the podcast. Bristowe and Tartick’s first interaction wasn’t at the reception. Instead, the two ran into each other at a local bar the night before.
Despite co-parenting their dogs Ramen and Pinot, Iaconetti said, “It had been a while since [Kaitlyn’s] seen him.”
Iaconetti elaborated, saying, “Sorry to disappoint for those who want drama, but they were so totally normal all weekend long once the initial hi was done.”
Ben Higgins chimed in to say he was “proud” of the exes for navigating the awkward situation. Ashley Iaconetti confessed to hoping a “rekindling of a flame” would happen during the weekend’s festivities, but it didn’t.
