Shawn Booth Praises Ex-Fiance Kaitlyn Bristowe Amid Rift
Shawn Booth fell for Kaitlyn Bristowe during Season 11 of The Bachelorette. The feeling was mutual, and in the end, she chose him over Ben Higgins.
Booth and Bristowe were engaged for three years before breaking up in 2018. She quickly moved on with Season 14 contestant Jason Tartick after meeting on her Off the Vine podcast. But they recently broke up, too.
In the past, Kaitlyn Bristowe has spoken out about her relationship with Shawn Booth, accusing him of using her for fame. In response, he said he never wanted to speak to her again.

Shawn Booth said that during his time on The Bachelorette, he felt he couldn’t confide in any of the other men because they were his competition. He further revealed that Kaitlyn Bristowe was the only one he could lean on, especially as the show took a toll on his mental health.

The popular ABC franchise had its own scandal involving alcohol consumption in 2017. Corinne Olympios alleged she was too drunk to consent to sexual activity with one of her co-stars on Season 4 of Bachelor In Paradise.
An internal investigation found that the show did nothing wrong, and the season continued to film – without Olympios or DeMario Jackson.

Another common accusation surrounding reality shows is that they are scripted or manipulated by the producers. Shawn Booth addressed this on Lahren’s show. He stopped short of calling the show scripted. However, he did confirm that the producers try to steer the cast in certain directions to create drama.
Calls Out Bachelor Nation Friendships As Fake
According to Shawn Booth, the friendships and romantic relationships that form during filming are real. However, he isn’t so sure about the friendships among Bachelor Nation alums from different seasons.
He told Tomi Lahren that, in his opinion, many Bachelor Nation alum only hang out to post the pictures on social media.
Tomi Lahren shared a secret of her own – she was once dating someone from the franchise, but the Bachelor Nation alum ended things quickly on the advice of their agent, fearing a connection with the conservative pundit would look bad.
In a Reddit thread about the interview, fans speculated that the alum in question was Chase McNary, a contestant on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.
