‘Live’ Kelly Ripa On A Mission To Set Up Son With Famous Actress
Undoubtedly, the Live With Kelly And Mark hosts, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are proud of their children. Being the opportunist that Kelly is, she has a plan to match up her son with a famous actress. But who it is, just might surprise you.
Kelly Ripa Talks About Her Sons On-Air
On Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast Wednesday, she reveals sons Michael, 26, and Joaquin, 20, have the hots for a certain actress. Explaining, Kelly says to her guest, “I wish I could introduce you to my children because my sons — as you know, we’ve discussed this over DMs — I have two sons that are very dichotomous in their personalities.” But the two have one thing in common. Kelly divulges, “They are not similar in any way. They disagree on everything — except the hotness of Sharon Stone.”
Common Ground For The Boys
Since Kelly Ripa was interviewing Sharon Stone that day, it was a flattering compliment. Given that whenever Kelly Ripa’s sons enter the room when she is watching some of Stone’s popular movies, they always have something to say. Furthermore, Kelly describes that they scoff at Sharon’s onscreen love interests and immediately declare their unworthiness. As she reenacts, “If my boys walk in, they’re like, ‘Yeah right, as if Robert De Niro would ever be able to get her’…’Yeah right, like Joe Pesci would have a chance with Sharon Stone.’”

Notably, Sharon Stone gave credit to her co-stars while talking with Kelly Ripa. But she points out they were all “25 to 30” years older than her during the filming. Admittedly, this isn’t unusual for onscreen relationships in Hollywood. “It was true to life. These women always were 20, 25, 30 years younger than the men [they dated],” Sharon adds. “But if we dated someone 10 years younger we’d be cougars.”
Kelly Ripa Gets A Bright Idea
With that, the Live With Kelly And Mark host, Kelly Ripa sparks a big idea. Furthermore, she thinks it is time to change the perspective of dating younger. Then she offers up her son Michael. She claims that he would be a great match for Sharon Stone even with a nearly 40-year age difference. Jokingly, Kelly says, “Sharon, I could set you up with my son right now. He is 26.” Continuing saying, “I would like for you to be my daughter-in-law. That would be the greatest honor of our family.” And adding, “It would be the joy of my life.”

Surprisingly, Sharon Stone didn’t immediately shoot down the idea. Instead, the actress confesses she has dated men whose mothers were her age, on two different occasions in the past. Given that tidbit, Kelly Ripa jumps at pushing the proposal even more so. However, Sharon makes it clear won’t date anyone under 45. But don’t worry, most likely, Kelly isn’t finished playing matchmaker with her kids.
