On Friday, DWTS co-host Julianne Hough appeared on The Talk. During her interview, she talked about the fun she’s had in her 17-year involvement with DWTS and how much she enjoys working alongside co-host Alfonso Ribeiro. She also promoted her latest venture- a collaboration with the woman-owned company Blender Bites.

Why Did Julianne Partner With Blender Bites?

According to the DWTS host, she teamed up with Blender Bites because she appreciates that they are a female-led company. She saw how successful they were in the Canadian market and wanted to be part of a company that focused on quality and innovation.

This new collaboration is Julianne’s second business venture outside the world of DWTS. She’s also the founder of the dance workout program Kinrgy.

Will Julianne Continue Co-Hosting Dancing With the Stars?

In September, the veteran dancer and celebrity judge returned to Dancing With the Stars to co-host its 32nd season. Fans were initially excited to see Hough replace Tyra Banks as co-host, but things quickly turned sour. After only two months in her new role, Julianne has made some glaring errors. Fans were frustrated when she couldn’t be bothered to learn the proper pronunciation of contestant Xochitl Gomez’s name. While it’s not a common English name, one critic pointed out that if she took the time to learn it, it’s no harder to say than Sarah or Adam. For clarification, the proper way to say it is ‘Sho-til.’

Frustration gave way to annoyance during Hough’s interview with Barry Williams. Williams paid tribute to his late co-star, Florence Henderson, after which he said he could feel his mentor’s presence with him. Julianne told him she was sure Henderson was rooting for him, as though she was unaware of the actress’s passing. This provoked viewers to mock the co-host on X, formerly Twitter, and call her out for not realizing that Florence is no longer with us. A few fans stood by her and speculated that she may have meant Henderson was cheering on her former co-star from the afterlife.

Julianne Hough Isn’t Leaving DWTS Any Time Soon

Although some fans are irritated by her apparent lack of attention to detail, Julianne still has support from the studio. Rather than being fired, it was recently revealed that Hough will join the Dancing With the Stars: Live! The Tour starts in January 2024. During the tour, she will return to the DWTS stage as a dance pro for the first time since she left the series in 2009.

What do you think of Julianne Hough’s new business venture? Do you like her as co-host of Dancing With the Stars? Do you think fans are being too dramatic over minor slip-ups? Let us know in the comments!
