Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 returned Canadian wildlife devotee, Blake Moynes to the Bachelor Nation franchise. He’s been on The Bachelorette, and nobody raved about him. Mind you, they felt sad when the split with Katie Thurston happened. However, this time around, fans are gushing about him. In fact, they’d like to see him as the next Bachelor lead. Why is that? The wildlife enthusiast, filmmaker, and influencer is the sort of man who needs someone special. For a start, unless a partner’s prepared to adventure in wild places, they might not see much of him. So, that might account for his failing with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams in Season 16 of The Bachelorette. In fact, his devotion to his passion connected him with Kendall Long in September when they went on an adventure exploring Lemurs. But, she’s already taken by Mitch Sage.
Now that he’s on Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, it’s not clear if he will find the right person. The Bachelor Nation star joined Kat Izzo, Jess Girod, and others who came from The Bachelor season that starred Zach Shallcross. In fact, he also had a chance to catch up with Katie Thurston who visited the beach. But it’s Kat Izzo who takes a lot of heat, that gets fans gushing about the hunky adventurer.

Bachelor In Paradise Blake Moynes Defends Kat Izzo
Kat Izzo takes heat because she’s after John Henry Spurlock, despite him being with Olivia. Additionally, BIP fans felt that she used Brayden Bowers when she made a move on Tanner Courtad. They went off on a romantic horse ride on the beach. So, she let Brayden down who vented to Wells Adams about it. Kat developed a rep as a villain with Zach Shallcross and now, Bachelor Nation fans slam her for being a villain all over again.
Bachelor in Paradise fans shared a clip that Blake Moynes made about Kat Izzo. She “didn’t have a good birthday,” so he asked people to “go easy” on her. Recall, that she gave her rose to Tanner Courtad, but he went on a date with Davia. Meanwhile, Jess Girod gave her rose to Blake. In his video, Blake said some nice things to Kat, calling her “hilarious,” and reminded people that nobody’s “perfect.”
Gushing BIP Fans Want Blake As The Next Bachelor
Bachelor in Paradise fans saw that Blake asked people to be kind, and he reminded them that Kat does a noble profession as a nurse. In her defense, he noted that people should “ease up on Kat.” The reaction on Reddit was all about Blake. One Bachelor Nation fan wrote, “[I] Wouldn’t even be mad if Blake was the next Bachelor.”
Another person opined, “Exposing myself but I thought he was so unattractive on Katie’s season…and now I’m like what!? Talk about glow up.”
Thirsty fans continued with their praises: “He has eyes like Paul Hollywood. And I’m digging the salt n’ pepper beard. This reads as emotional maturity and empathy. He just keeps getting hotter and hotter!!!” The commenter added, “…if they ever wanna do a retro pick for Bach in the future, I’d be pleased to see him as a lead.”
