The couple accumulated this incredible fortune by wearing many hats and dabbling in many different business ventures. Once known only as house flippers, this beautiful reality TV couple now has a very long list of income streams.
According to People Magazine, the couple recently added the hospitality business to their resumes as they restored and opened a gorgeous hotel in Waco, Texas. The outlet reveals the hotel has 33 rooms. The couple officially opened the hotel just this month. Fans of the HGTV couple wasted no time booking reservations. Presently, anyone looking to stay at the hotel is in for a bit of a wait. Currently, the hotel is booked from now until April of next year.
Located at 701 Washington Street in Waco, Texas, the hotel is just a few blocks away from Chip and Joanna’s other business venture Magnolia Market. Guests of the hotel can travel 10 minutes on foot or three minutes by car to get to the Magnolia Market. Formerly the Grand Karem Shrine Building, Chip and Joanna did a complete renovation and remodel to transform the building into a beautiful hotel called Hotel 1928.
Located just six blocks away from the hotel, Magnolia Market attracts HGTV fans from all over the world. So, it is no surprise that fans are also racing to stay in a hotel crafted by Chip and his beautiful wife Joanna.
What The Hotel Offers
Within the 33 rooms, the hotel offers guests four different types of rooms to choose from:
- The Franklin (which is a standard room featuring two queen beds or one king bed)
- The August (a more spacious room)
- The Columbus (an even larger room with “high-end” vibes)
- The Washington (A suite with multiple sleeping arranges and living spaces, ideal for up to 12 guests)
The hotel boasts of a 24-hour concierge, minibars, turndown service, and custom hygiene products. Within the hotel, there are also three restaurants that Chip and Joanna also assisted in furnishing. Furthermore, the hotel includes a library and a retail shop.
