Halloween can be such a fun time. Many celebrities get on board with the holiday to showcase their costumes and character creations. The Kardashians stars have a true flare for the intricate details when it comes to fashioning their costumes. While most of the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s costumes are acceptable to fans during the spooky holiday, Khloe Kardashian is getting backlash for her choice.

During Khloe Kardashian’s fall time fun, she posted pictures on Instagram a few weeks ago of her and the kids dressing as cows. Captioning, with her cuties, “🐄🐄until the cows come home🐄🐄.” Naturally, this received mostly positive feedback from commenters, about the cute kids. However, several threads push that she should do more in the world than play with her kids. And a big focus was placed on her using her platform to do something about the killings in Israel. But others stood up for the celebrity saying she should be able to enjoy her kids.

Khloe Kardashian Is Almost Unrecognizable
However, for Halloween, Khloe Kardashian went all out dressing up with several of her friends. Again, on Instagram, she showcases her elaborate depiction of the Bratz doll collection. Pictured with three other friends who joined her in the group costume, Khloe was almost unrecognizable. Additionally, many of the comments place focus on the fact it was hard to decode who was who in the picture. Expressively, the comments show at a minimum people have confusion when they first look at the photos.

Fans Call Out Khloe For Her Choices
But as the comments go, some start pointing out that Khloe Kardashian’s version of Bratz makes her look much darker than usual. Comments on Instagram pop up saying, “Girl I thought this was a random black woman.” Which led hundreds of people to agree. Also, a Reddit thread explodes with the same topic. While using the Instagram photo, a Reddit user says, “Khloé Kardashian criticized for skin tone in Bratz doll Halloween look.”
Reddit Users Go Crazy Over The Costume
Notably, the captioned photo on Reddit ignites a huge discussion about Khloe Kardashian changing her skin tone to portray the Bratz doll. Many still point out she is hard to recognize, but most take it a step further to say she was intentionally trying to appear black. “I saw this on Instagram earlier & this post is how I’m finding out this is Khloe & not a light-skinned woman.”

Another says, “They blackfish all the time, what else is new? Like she legit looks nothing like herself. I thought she was a blackwomann when I first seen it.” This amped up the back-and-forth discussion of whether Khloe Kardashian was purposely trying to appear black. Some say the blonde hair shows she wasn’t, but one person responds, “Black women have blonde hair too lol but her skin tone is definitely black fishing. Agree to disagree. But this is also nothing new for them. And Kendall does not look like this.”

One commenter points out about the look, “I don’t think we’re meant to. She’s supposed to look like an animated Bratz doll, which is why her lips are fake & her eye makeup is costume-ish.” Someone attempting to rebuttal it isn’t race-related says, “It’s not supposed to. It’s a costume. She has fake lips on and is wearing exaggerated Bratz doll makeup. Her skin tone looks like her normal skin tone.” Another tries to remind others it is a costume, “The ‘omg it doesn’t even look like her’ comments are killing me. It’s a Halloween costume she is not supposed to look like herself. Isn’t that the point lol? No one sees someone dressed as a ghost and goes after them for not looking like themselves for Halloween. Poor Chloe she will never catch a break.”
