Travis Barker Breaks Silence About Kourtney & Kim Feud Over Him
Travis Barker is coming forward about the rumors of his role in the feud between his wife and The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian, and her sister, Kim Kardashian. During Travis’ 2016 memoirs, he divulges his crush on Kim Kardashian. Presently, he is speaking out about the claims that his crush on Kim nearly two decades ago is at the root of the current sisterly feud.
Sisterly Feud Over Travis Barker And Kourtney Kardashian’s Wedding Design
Originally, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian’s divide became apparent when Kim released a collection with Dolce & Gabbana just months after Kourtney and Travis Barker’s wedding which had the same designers. During an episode of The Kardashians, Kim confronts Kourtney claiming the inspiration for Kim’s show is from Kourtney’s wedding. Then Kim pushes back that that was inspired by her own 2014 wedding to Kanye West. Saying, “I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli.”
But the most recent feud keeps escalating. However, seemingly, Kim pokes fun at the spat in a response to Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble’s Instagram post. When Corey adds a photo from his Dolce & Gabbana partnership, Kim shares one of the photos and tags Kourtney, adding, “👀.” Comically, waiting to see Kourtney’s response.

Travis Barker Sets The Record Straight
In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, Travis Barker says the feud has nothing to do with his relationship with Kim or Kourtney. Reflecting on his memoir reference, he says, “You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous.” In the book, he says, Kim was “f—— hot.” Furthermore, he talks about “secretly checking [her] out” even though, at the time, he was dating Paris Hilton. Confessing he hears Kourtney’s fans saying, “It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it.” Travis clarifies, “I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me.”
Admittedly, he confirms, “That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on.” Notably, Travis Barker says Kourtney doesn’t hold it against him. There is no ill will about this between the couple. In 2021, Kim Kardashian gave her opinion about her and Travis Barker’s past. She posted on Instagram, a response to a comment asking if they had hooked up, “NO! False narrative!” “We’ve been friends for years, and I’m so happy for him and Kourt.”
Is There An End In Sight For The Feud?
While there has been tension between these two Kardashian sisters, it seems the ongoing feud may be starting to defuse. For Kim’s 43rd birthday, Kourtney seems to be bridging the divide. She writes on Instagram, “People think the fights they’ve seen on TV are bad if only they got to witness the hair-pulling, nail-digging ones from early high school.” Adding, “The joys of sisterhood. I love you deeply forever and always. May God bless this year with love and happiness and abundant joy ❤️.”
