How Much Child Support Does Khloe Kardashian’s Baby Daddy Owe?
Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy has landed in some hot water as he allegedly owes a pretty hefty sum of child support. Exactly how much money does he owe? And, has he issued any sort of statement on why he hasn’t been paying his child support? Keep reading for all the details.
How Much Child Support Does Khloe Kardashian’s Baby Daddy Owe?
Jordan Craig, Tristan Thompson’s ex, reportedly filed a declaration with the Los Angeles court about a month ago. In the declaration, she alleges that Tristan is seriously behind on his child support payments. In fact, according to The Daily Mail, Jordan Craig claims Tristan Thompson owes her and his six-year-old son, Prince, $224,000 in child support payments.
In the documents filed with the court, Jordan Craig explains Tristan has been spotty on making payments since November of last year. Sadly, he either gives a partial payment or skips out on the payment entirely.
As those who have been following this messy story know, Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy and Jordan Craig came to an agreement on child support back in 2019. The agreement was that he would pay $40,000 a month.
When the agreement was made Tristan Thompson was banking just shy of $18M a year with the NBA. Outside of Prince, he only had one other child he was responsible for. His five-year-old daughter, True.
He Has More Children Now
Things have changed for Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy since he made the agreement to pay $40,000 a month to help support his son, Prince. He welcomed his son Theo into the world with Maralee Nichols. And, he agreed to pay her $10K a month. He also welcomed his son Tatum into the world with Khloe Kardashian in July 2022.
Over a ten-month period, Jordan Craig detailed just how spotty Tristan’s payments have been. In November of last year, he paid $20K, in December he paid the full $40K, in January 2023 he paid nothing. From the months of February to July he sent her payments of $14.5K each month. In August, the last payment before she filed, he sent her $29K. Leaving an owed debt of $224K in unpaid child support.
She Wants Khloe Kardashian’s Baby Daddy To Pay
Jordan Craig is asking the court to withhold $80K of Tristan Thompson’s monthly income so that the payments can continue as agreed upon until the debt is repaid. Moreover, she argues that she is under the impression he just signed a new $2.7 million per year contract. So, she does not believe there is any reason why he can’t make these payments to his son.
