Matthew Perry Dead At 54
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Matthew Perry was confirmed dead at 54 last night. Tragically, he was found dead in his home by his assistant. His cause of death has not been determined at this time, but they called 911 stating they thought it was cardiac arrest. He was found in a hot tub and is suspected of drowning.
Last night, fans of the Friends star wanted to believe it was a cruel celebrity death hoax. Los Angeles Police Department’s Capt. Scot Williams, however, did come forward to confirm the news was no hoax. Matthew Perry was dead.
As fans re-watch episodes of Friends in honor of his passing, some have made a shocking discovery. There was an eerie scene in an episode featuring himself and Courteney Cox that seemingly predicted his cause of death would be drowning.
Eerie Friends Episode Predicted Matthew Perry’s Cause Of Death
The eerie scene of Friends making rounds on TikTok features Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) and Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) getting professional pictures taken. As the scene progressed, Courteney Cox explained they were getting their photos taken for their wedding announcement.
Monica Geller paused the photographer to criticize Chandler Bing’s facial expression. She noted that he didn’t look like he was happy and in love. Instead, the photo felt like it was of “a local woman saving a moron from drowning.”
Seemingly agreeing with her, the photographer begins to laugh. Monica Geller instantly gets offended. So, she tells the photographer not to laugh at Chandler because he is “my drowning moron.” As a result, Chandler’s facial expression softened as he thought it was sweet the way Monica rushed to defend him.
After that, seeing his face soften, Monica rushes the photographer to quickly snap the perfect photo. Unfortunately for her, Chandler Bing’s face instantly shifts to that same awkward smile that she was complaining about.
