Bachelor in Paradise is in full swing as singles from Bachelor Nation gather to try and date each other to find love. However, along with love, of course, comes some heartbreak as well. Now, Wells Adams is talking about some ways that the cast could avoid this. This includes avoiding the ‘kiss of death.’ Keep reading to learn more about the ‘kiss of death’ and what exactly that means.

Wells Adams talks Bachelor in Paradise

In Bachelor Nation, Wells Adams has become a sort of therapist for the Bachelor in Paradise goers. Now, he’s talking about the season so far and some mistakes the love birds are making on the show. According to Yahoo! one of those mistakes is talking about their birthdays. After being asked about the rules in paradise, Wells says that saying it’s your birthday on the show is the ‘kiss of death.’ Otherwise, he says there are no rules on the show.

“There are no rules in Paradise. Actually, there is only one. And that rule is never, and I mean NEVER tell anyone it’s your birthday. It’s always the kiss of death,” he says. He goes on to say it seems like the people on the show have never seen the show. “It’s like these kids haven’t watched the show before.”

All of this insight from Wells comes after Kat had a pretty bad birthday on the beach. Already, Kat has been having a tough time of things in Paradise. Now, the man she had her eye on decided to go on a date with another woman – on her birthday.

Just the night before, Kat gave her rose to Tanner. However, Davia then arrived, essentially stealing Tanner from Kat. Of course, Davia asked Tanner to go on a date to which Tanner said yes. Meaning Kat was left alone on her birthday while Tanner went out with someone else. Tanner let Kat know this would give him clarity, but it’s pretty apparent that he really likes Davia. In fact, the pair were seen making out several times throughout their date.

Despite all of the drama though, Kat still got a birthday cake from her castmates. However, she ended up dropping the cake in the sand. Clearly, this wasn’t her best birthday.

So, is Wells right?

It seems that Wells could very well be right about keeping birthdays a secret. Especially given just how poorly Kat’s night went.

Do you agree with Wells Adams? Is telling your birthday the ‘kiss of death’ on the show? Let us know all of your thoughts on this and the rest of the season in the comments below. Come back to TV Shows Ace for more news on all of your favorite Bachelor Nation stars.
