Tyler Cameron Devastated Over Mom’s Sudden Passing
In February 2020, former Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron asked fans to pray for his mother, who had suffered a medical emergency.
Sadly, two days after being admitted for what was reported as a heart attack, Andrea Cameron passed away at the age of 55. Tyler Cameron has two younger brothers, Austin and Ryan.
Early reports that she suffered a heart attack were incorrect. The cause of death was a brain aneurysm.

The family was devastated over losing their beloved matriarch. However, they turned their sadness into action. Tyler Cameron, along with his brothers, created a foundation dedicated to their mom.
The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation funds scholarships for college education for students in the Jupiter, Florida, area. According to the foundation’s website, students can win scholarships up to $2,000 per semester, totaling $4,000 per year.
In 2022, the Cameron family hosted the foundation’s first gala to help raise money for the scholarship. The second annual gala was on October 26, 2023, in Jupiter, Florida. Bachelor Nation and more stars came out to support Tyler Cameron and his mother’s legacy.

Tyler Cameron remains one of the most popular Bachelorette contestants. In addition to being beloved by the audience, the model seems well-liked by other Bachelor Nation alums.
So, it’s no surprise that many of them attended the gala to support the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation.
Bachelorette Season 14 contestant Jason Tartick shared photos from the gala on his Instagram. “The last couple of days we have been celebrating in the honor of Tyler’s mother, Andrea Cameron. He and his family have created a foundation in her honor, as she lived by the mantra that ‘education is a gift that lasts a lifetime,'” Tartick wrote alongside a photo of himself, Tyler Cameron, and Bachelor alum Nick Viall.

Tartick shared photos with Season 25 Bachelor Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell. Noticeably missing from the photos is Tartick’s ex-fiance, Kaitlyn Bristowe. The former couple split over the summer after four years together.
It wasn’t just Bachelor Nation stars in attendance. JoJo Siwa, one of Tyler Cameron’s Special Forces co-stars, came out to show support and honor his mother’s memory.
The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation awarded five scholarships in 2023.
