‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Sea Queen On ‘Harry Potter Night’?
Sea Queen makes her first appearance on The Masked Singer tonight as the theme is Harry Potter Night. However, unlike many other contestants, there wasn’t a clue package released ahead of time, although there was a short video clip that showed off her costume with a few visual clues in it.
Here is a look at tonight’s episode of The Masked Singer and a little about Sea Queen.
Who is Sea Queen on The Masked Singer?
Sea Queen shows up tonight on The Masked Singer. She has a lot of strong competition as Hawk, Husky, and Tiki return from last week and someone has to go home. However, who is Sea Queen on The Masked Singer?
Unlike other contestants, there has been no video of her actually singing so there are no clues to be garnered by her voice. She also didn’t talk in a promo clues package, as is usually the case for new singers. With that said, there were some small visual clues in an Instagram post that showed what Sea Queen looked like. The short video started off with Sea Queen walking down what looked like the tracks at the Kings Cross train station from Harry Potter.
A splash of water led her to a scene in front of a giant clock that read 10 minutes before midnight. The scene then showed her walking and then a shot of her staring at a spider with red spots on its back climbing up a web. That then transitioned into a shot of her splitting into three different versions of herself before the video ended. The Masked Singer video included the song “Unleash the Beast” by Richard Macklin.
There were a lot of guesses in the comments on the Instagram post. Names popped up like Scarlett Johansson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Raven-Symoné, and Elizabeth Olsen. A thread on Reddit was started and they guessed names like Kathy Najimy, Anneliese van der Pol, and Ciara.
As for the judges, the only thing shown was one guess and one reaction. In a YouTube video promoting the new episode (see below), Nicole Scherzinger said that Sea Queen “cast a spell” on them. The only guess shown was in a second YouTube video where Ken Jeong guessed it was Queen Latifah. Neither Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg nor Nicole liked his guess.
Harry Potter Night on The Masked Singer
There is a four-way battle on The Masked Singer tonight as the show celebrates all things Harry Potter. The panel all dressed up, with Ken as Snape, Jenny as Dumbledore, Nicole as Hermoine, and Robin Thicke looking like he stepped out of the Fantastic Beasts movies.
As for the competition, Sea Beast battles Hawk, Husky, and Tiki. Last week, Tiki was in the bottom two but outlasted tennis pro, Billie Jean King, to move on. We believe that Tiki is an iconic hair band frontman. The other two moved on with no problem. We believe Hawk is a teen heartthrob who is also a punk music star, and Husky is a legitimate music icon who has sold over 10 million albums.
