When Lala Kent first joined Vanderpump Rules in Season 4, she was not liked by many. She lied about a modeling gig just to go on a lux vacation and then she had an elusive boyfriend. As it turned out, he claimed he was separated but was actually still married with two children. Kent was looked at as a sugar baby and her co-stars took a lot of time to warm up to her. However, once they did, they could not stop gushing. Yes, they had some issues with her and her sharp tongue but she was a good mom and businesswoman. More so, she was a ride-or-die friend which was essential.
Now, she is celebrating a key moment in her life as she is now five years sober. That means the mother of Ocean, 2, gets to have a fifth birthday party. Lala chose Chilis, per her Instagram, to have the bash and bring together everyone from her past and present. Her mother, Lisa Burningham, and brother, Easton were in attendance. Pump alums Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor were there which was a big deal since fellow alum Stassi Schroeder showed up with her two kids. Scheana Shay attended with husband, Brock Davies, and their daughter, Summer.

Katie Maloney and her mother, Teri came by as did Stassi’s mama, Dayna so it was a true family affair. Lala Kent wrote in the caption: “When they asked me where I wanted to celebrate my 5th birthday, it was a no brainer. @chilis 🌶️💃🤌” There was cake, smiles, and happiness as Scheana was seen feeding Summer, Stassi’s daughter, Hartford, and Kent’s little girl, Ocean all at once. Friends and followers sent love, like Kristen Doute: “congratulations baby girl 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽.”
Reconciliation?
Three people who attended Lala Kent’s fifth birthday were Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Stassi Schroeder. They used to be best friends but that all came to a head when Taylor and Cartwright did not attend Stassi’s wedding to Beau Clark at the last minute. It was a destination wedding and Stassi maintained that the spaces they held could have gone to other people. Though Jax and Brittany claim they still love Stassi and Beau and want a friendship, it has been hard. Now, they all came together for Lala so is there a chance they may have started working toward something positive? Let’s hope.
