‘Welcome To Plathville’ Kim Plath Trashes Barry As Fans Praise Him

Why Welcome To Plathville Fans Are Loving Barry Plath
A Barry Plath versus Kim Plath situation came up in a thread on Reddit dedicated to the TLC series a few days ago. The OP of the thread questioned if anyone found it strange that Kim was always bad-mouthing Barry despite Barry never doing the same to her. The OP proceeded to ask fans what they thought Kim was trying to accomplish with this one-sided toxic behavior.
While fans of Welcome to Plathville certainly agreed with the OP, they didn’t really understand the follow-up question. The first response to the thread noted it wasn’t strange at all. This individual clarified that Kim Plath was a raging “a**hole.” Furthermore, they pointed out that Barry Plath spent the last two and a half decades of his life being a “doormat” to his monster of a wife.
Fans Suspect He’s Smarter Than She Is
Now, Welcome to Plathville fans are not deluded into thinking Barry Plath still likes Kim. They just suspect he’s smart enough to know how it would look for him to trash-talk her on television. Likewise, fans believe he knows how it would look to say bad things about her to the children.
One fan explained: “I think he knows better than to talk bad about her on camera. He probably has enough sense to understand if he does his kids and someday grandkids could see it. He knows how immature and petty it looks I’m sure. I’m not a fan of his, but it’s a smart move to stay civil as possible.”
Some Welcome to Plathville fans add that it isn’t really necessary for Barry to say anything negative about Kim. These fans added that she does a stellar job of highlighting the fact that she’s a monster on her own.
Another fan penned: “Not at all. Barry doesn’t have to say a word. Kim is doing an excellent job of making herself look terrible without any help from anyone, mainly because she’s actually a terrible person.”

Regardless of TLC’s involvement, fans are pretty much in agreement that Kim Plath is toxic and Barry is a great father.
