Jax Taylor Calls Out Katie Maloney’s Ego, Riding Coattails

Jax Taylor Calls Out Katie Maloney’s Ego, Riding Coattails

Though he left Vanderpump Rules at the end of Season 8, Jax Taylor has kept his presence known. He will also be back on reality television with the E! series, House Of Villains. Plus, he has been working on a Pump Rules spin-off so he is very much a force to be reckoned with. Since he is back in the public eye, he has been giving a plethora of interviews and talking about whatever is on his mind. Recently, he shared his thoughts on his former co-star, Katie Maloney. She happened to be married to his best friend, Tom Schwartz until they divorced in 2022.

According to Jax, he finds her to have a big ego. Per Us Weekly, Taylor was at City Winery recently when someone asked about Katie. He started by sharing how she essentially abandoned her friendship with his wife, Brittany Cartwright. Instagram account, @scandoval_threads was able to recount the situation. “She’s mean. She’s mean to my wife [Brittany Cartwright] and I have a problem with that,” Taylor started. He went on to add: “She’s mean to my wife. She hasn’t returned calls and they haven’t talked forever. She did our gender reveal [party] and she was in our wedding.”


As it turns out, Jax Taylor also feels that Katie Maloney has quite the ego right now. “Katie’s got a little bit of a big head right now. She’s riding on Ariana [Madix]‘s coattails,” he noted. The two women are in the sandwich shop business, trying to open Something About Her. However, Katie caught wind of what Jax had said and quickly clapped back. She claimed that Britt had not called her, they just saw each other, and they were fine.

Fans are thrilled to see Jax Taylor back on their screens. Love him or hate him, he brings the drama. Of course, hearing Jax saying someone has a big ego made some chuckle.
