Recently, The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian, was the guest of honor at Victoria’s Spring/Summer ’24 show on Friday during Paris Fashion Week. During Victoria Beckham’s fashion show, Anna Wintour was reportedly annoyed with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner for coming in late.
Reported Delay Of Victoria Beckham’s Fashion Show
Beauty takes time to prepare. Held at Karl Lagerfeld’s home, former Chanel designer, Victoria Beckham’s runway was primed for showcasing the new styles. But with the guest of honor, Kim Kardashian, being delayed it reportedly also had a late start. Subsequently, Anna Wintour expressed her annoyance with the hold-up.
Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner Were “Fashionably Late”
An insider told Page Six, “Kim was super late. Anna was pissed because the show was delayed until Kim arrived.” Then, reportedly, “Anna left before Victoria even did her walk in front of the guests after showing the collection because she was late to other shows.” When she finally arrived at the show and was seated, someone said Anna Wintour was noticeably avoiding Kim.

Notably, The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian, wore a slinky purple dress and arrived “fashionably late” with her mom, Kris Jenner. Unfortunately, she was seated next to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in the front row. “At Victoria Beckham on Friday, Anna Wintour was visibly unamused, tapping her watch repeatedly in the direction of the PRs before the show finally started once les Kardashians had swept in.” Identifying the behavioral trend, the UK Telegraph’s head of fashion, Lisa Armstrong, has said, “The Kardashians’ fashion show routine is to keep everyone waiting at least 50 minutes before ‘making their entrance.’”

Based on a clip posted on X, “Anna Wintour appears to snub Kim Kardashian after she arrived late to Victoria Beckham’s fashion show,” the post conveys. As Kim Kardashian scurries past the crowd, she stops to hug David Beckham and gives him a quick peck on the cheek. Meanwhile, Anna seated next to David Beckham, has her arms crossed and seemingly has nothing to say to Kim.

What Was Going On At The Fashion Show?
However, someone close to Anna Wintour denied there had been an issue with Anna and Kim. The source said Anna chatted with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Additionally, another person insisted Kim did not delay the show. Based on their perspective, the show was set to start at 5:30 p.m. and it kicked off right before 6 p.m. So they replied, “Kim and Kris arrived at 5:50 pm so they were only 20 minutes late,” and then noted, “The show would have started without [the Kardashians], but [Victoria’s team was] not ready backstage.” Continuing with the justification, “Shows don’t usually start right at the invite time. Usually, they start 20-40 minutes after the allotted time.” A comment on X said, “Now why are you making this up? Anna didn’t snub Kim K that’s just Anna’s Face.”
