What Is The WCTH Episode ‘Long Time Running’ About?

Hearties are still in shock over the events that happened in the recent WCTH episode entitled “All Dressed Up.” Lucas (Chris McNally) stood up pretending to support the Governor (Mark Brandon), only to surprise everyone by revealing the Governor’s actions. The saloon owner is determined to save Hope Valley.

Meanwhile, his very confused fiancée Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) still seems to have questions about her upcoming marriage and is, as many Hearties are claiming, “emotionally cheating” with Nathan (Kevin McGarry). It looks like she is more uncertain than ever if she is going to marry Lucas.

Next,  Bill (Jack Wagner)learned that Madeline St. John (Stefanie von Pfetten) had gone to Boston, as Jamie (John JJ Miller) had sent a book from Boston. Turns out, she was not the Montague’s (Benjamin Wilkinson) fiancée. Instead, Montague was her late husband’s business partner. Moreover, he is blackmailing her! He has control of her son’s trust. Her hand was forced.

However, she has not filed the paperwork yet. Can Bill do anything to stop Montague and the Governor from stealing Hope Valley’s water?

All of this excitement sets up for another action-packed episode. This week, in “Long Time Running,” the official synopsis is brief.

Lucas is the talk of the Valley. Elizabeth and the whole town rallies around him, but everyone still worries it won’t be enough to stop the Governor.
