It has been a few months since fans have gotten an update on Anna Cardwell’s stage 4 cancer. In the season finale of Family Crisis, she broke the news to her sisters that this was going on. It was tragic as they had just celebrated Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson getting into college. Then, they all gathered in Florida for Mama June’s vow renewal to Justin Stroud only to come home to this devastating news. Anna also has two small children who are somewhat aware of what is going on but the future is clearly unknown.
Now, a Reddit thread has been started to talk about a recent TikTok live that Mama June did. There, she addressed what was up with Anna and how she was doing. This is what the OP shared: “On June’s TikTok live today she said Anna’s recent scans showed the cancer tumor(s) has slightly grown, so she started immunotherapy a week ago. In 5 weeks they’ll know whether or not it’s working.” Of course, fellow Redditors had mixed emotions about the whole situation.
There is no doubt that they want Anna Cardwell to pull through and recover quickly so she can get back to her babies. By the same token, they have also seen her with siblings on TikTok quite frequently. More so, they are not happy with what they have seen. One noted: “Yet the whole family keeps acting a fool on social media 🙄.” Fortunately, Anna’s family all lives close to her right now which is a blessing but there are times when she does not want them around, apparently. She is ashamed of what she is going through which she clearly should not be at all.

Mama June and Pumpkin shared that the new season of Family Crisis was filming over the summer. Therefore, more answers about what Anna Cardwell is facing will likely be answered. As for now, she seems to just be trying to live her life the best that she can until her next treatments. Hopefully, she has a much better outcome and can see a way out as this seems quite grim. Luckily, she has her family there for her right when she needs them.
