Dean Unglert & Caelynn Miller-Keyes met on Season 6 of Bachelor In Paradise. They both previously looked for love on other versions of the franchise, and they almost didn’t find it on BIP either.
Unglert broke up with her halfway through the season, admitting he wasn’t ready for a relationship. However, he had a change of heart, returned to the show, and asked her to leave with him.
They left the beach together but were very much not engaged. According to Us Weekly, the couple spent the next few years traveling together and living the RV life.
From the beginning, Dean Unglert revolted against tradition, saying time and time again that he had no intention of marrying Caelynn Miller-Keyes.
Eventually, he had a change of heart and proposed in late 2022. Ever the non-traditionalist, he’s given his fiance four different engagement rings.

The Bachelor In Paradise couple had their wedding on Saturday, Sept. 23, in Meredith, Colorado. PEOPLE magazine reports that the location is near where Unlgert grew up.
The outlet notes that the ceremony was at the end of a weeklong celebration the couple dubbed “Camp Bell,” after Unglert’s late mother.
The couple previously revealed that they are both giving up their last names and taking on the last name “Bell” as a way to honor his mother.
According to PEOPLE, the festivities kicked off with a welcome dinner, followed by a field day and other summer camp-themed activities.

Other details shared by the magazine reveal Unglert’s friend officiated the ceremony, and the couple’s first dance was to the classic, “Bring It On Home to Me” by Sam Cooke.
As to their honeymoon plans, the couple are first heading to Aspen, Colorado, to “relax” following their big day. They also plan a longer honeymoon in South Africa later this year.
With a new season of Bachelor In Paradise coming up soon, the couple is a great reminder for Season 9 contestants that finding love on the beach is possible! Don’t miss the premiere on Thursday, Sept. 28.
