What Is Lifetime’s Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story About?
Here is more about the upcoming Ripped From The Headlines movie starring Luke Macfarlane. What is Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story about? According to The Futon Critic, Barbara and Eli Weaver live a traditional life in Ohio Amish country. This is a conservative part of the country. They do things the old-fashioned way. This means they do not use anything modern.
However, Eli is not fulfilled in living the life of an Amish man. He wants to indulge in everything bad. What he wants is to enjoy forbidden pleasures. That includes technology and women who are not Barbara. Soon, he starts to lead a secret life. On dating sites, his nickname is the “Amish Stud.”
Eli gets cozy with a lot of different women. Non-Amish women are curious to meet him and get intimate with him. They are curious about his lifestyle. Eli is happy to share details about his life, including his desire to kill his wife.
Suddenly, Barbara is killed by a bullet. The assumption is that Eli is to blame. But he cleverly has an alibi. Now, law enforcement has no leads to follow. Who would kill a woman who is leading a devout Amish life?
Things suddenly take a turn. This happens when they find that Eli has a secret cell phone. Now, the investigation goes at a rapid pace. One of the women that Eli met was Barb Raber. The two had a sordid affair, despite her being a married Conservative Mennonite.
It turns out Barb and Eli plotted to kill his wife Barbara. Now, the investigators need to bring them to justice.
