Luke Macfarlane Shares Why He Likes To Work With Hallmark

Luke Macfarlane shared his own statement about signing with Crown Media Family, Hallmark’s parent company.

I’m excited to be part of the joy that Hallmark brings to their viewers, not only for Christmas but to be able to participate in telling these heartfelt stories all year long.

In addition, the always gracious Macfarlane shared his appreciation. “I’m really grateful to have this opportunity.”

Musically Inclined Luke Mcfarlane Attended Juilliard For Acting

One fun fact is that Luke Macfarlane is very musical. He told the Courant that he eschewed athletics. Instead, he was in the boy’s choir and played the cello.

He was also part of a successful band called Nameless. Macfarlane was the main songwriter, and they recorded music and had some success. But, he decided to leave the band.

Instead, he auditioned for Juilliard by playing the cello. However, although Luke McFarlane played beautiful cello for his role in Chateau Christmas, he was not accepted to the prestigious school for music. Instead, he convinced them to let him into their famed drama program.

Don’t miss Luke portraying an architect in the upcoming Hallmark movie, Moriah’s Lighthouse.
