Charity Lawson was among the first celebrity names announced for Season 32 of Dancing With The Stars. And the news came in the sweetest way – her fiance, Dotun Olubeko, spilled the beans during ABC’s After the Final Rose special on August 21.
It was the second cast announcement after DWTS judge Derek Hough helped announce Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix as a contestant in July.

Charity Lawson Reveals How Engaged Life Is Going

In a new interview with PEOPLE magazine, Lawson herself admitted that navigating life after the show has been “a lot” for the couple.
However, she assured the outlet (and fans) that they are “really thriving” in their life together so far. She went on to say that Olubeko is her “number one fan.”

How Her Dotun Olubeko Is Helping Her Prep For Dance Competition
So, can fans expect to see Olubeko in the studio audience? Charity Lawson revealed in an earlier interview that her fiance will be with her while she’s in L.A. for the show.
Not only that, she told PEOPLE how much he’s been helping her prep for the competition. “He’s been helping me with my diet, my wellness, all those things,” she said.
The Georgia native added that his help goes beyond the physical, noting that he helps with her “mental and emotional health,” too.
“He’s always checking in, so I’m super grateful for him,” Lawson gushed of her fiance.
