Fans Never Get The Full Story
In a new thread on Reddit, one Sister Wives fan points out that fans never get the full story with all of the details. For example, fans have always been told that Meri Brown was awful toward a lot of the children. But, exact details and examples are never given.
Likewise, in the new season, fans were told about a group text message that blew up the family for the holidays. Everyone discussed the group messages and how they caused problems. There, however, was never a moment where anyone shared the specifics of what was said in these text messages that caused things to blow up.
The OP of the Reddit thread also questions if Robyn Brown actually needed a nanny. Or, if the nanny was just inserted to create drama.
Moreover, fans question if this “mean” and “controlling” Kody Brown is really new. Has he always been this way?

This particular Reddit thread has accumulated just shy of 150 comments in less than 24 hours. Many fans agree Kody and his wives have been lying to fans for years. And, they believe the reason why is pretty simple. Kody, Janelle, Meri, Christine, and Robyn have been tasked with putting on a show for years. A show that attracts enough attention that people keep coming back to watch it. Fans argue a lot of the drama described on the show lacks so much detail because it is largely fabricated by TLC to keep the show interesting.
One fan penned in response to the thread: “LOL, this family has quite literally been putting on a ‘show’ for the last decade. No reason to stop now. They are intentionally vague. They say they have ‘communication’ problems… But its quite obvious that they have a lot of communication not shared with ‘us.'”

“This show has also avoided giving context in basically everything. I bet Meri was mean to Jenelle, but I cant really blame Meri because the way Jenelle joined the family sounds pretty screwed up.” Another fan added.
