As we reported, Josie and her husband, Kelton Balka are expecting their third baby. The couple already shares four-year-old Willow and two-year-old Hazel. This baby is due in early March, and the couple is not planning on learning the gender before birth.
After sharing her announcement post, Josie has more details for fans about her little one on the way.
Josie Bates Balka shares the intimate way she found out she’s pregnant.
On her Instagram page this week, Josie revealed to her followers how she found out about her pregnancy. It started on her Instagram Stories. She shared a snap of a filter she had tried out a couple of months ago. The filter was supposed to tell her when she’d be pregnant next with options ranging from “today” to several months or years out. To her surprise, it landed on “today.”
Of course, this was totally random, but she was taken aback and seemed to take it as a sign she could actually be pregnant.
Then, the Bringing Up Bates star shared a video of herself heading to Dollar General to buy a pregnancy test.
In her video, she sat in the car and showed fans the pregnancy test she bought. She said, “I don’t really think I’m pregnant. But I am a couple of days late.” She admitted that her period isn’t regular yet, so it may not have been a big deal at all.
She filmed herself in the bathroom waiting for the test results. Then, she showed off the positive test with a huge smile on her face and was in total shock.
While sharing the video, she wrote, “Cannot wait to meet this sweet baby.
