One sibling was acting out the word “hunting” when a male in the room shouted, “George Floyd!” Fans found this extremely insensitive, and Carlin received a lot of backlash. Shortly after, she took it down, but it had already caught fans’ attention.
Fans believe this may have caused UPtv to cancel Bringing Up Bates, though this hasn’t been confirmed.
