‘DWTS’: Which Partner Did Sharna Burgess Absolutely HATE?
Dancing With The Stars pro Sharna Burgess allegedly despised one of her former dance partners.
The 38-year-old dancer has had 14 professional partners on the show with varying degrees of success. She won the Mirrorball Trophy with Bobby Bones in Season 27. Her last appearance was in Season 30 where she competed with her boyfriend and the father of her son, Brian Austin Green.
But one of the 14 partners left a very sour taste in Sharna’s mouth. Who exactly was it?
Sharna Burgess couldn’t be in the same room with one former partner
Although Sharna Burgess isn’t coming back for Dancing With The Stars Season 32, she still has a lot going on. She and her partner Brian Austin Green started a podcast called Oldish. And on top of that, she’s busy being a mother to her son, Zane.
But during the debut episode of Oldish, the Australian dancer revealed a major secret about one of her dance partners on DWTS. Reportedly, they couldn’t stand each other.
In the podcast episode, Sharna doesn’t specifically name the partner she couldn’t stand. But based on her words, it’s pretty clear who she was talking about.
“I wasn’t able to be in the room alone with him after the first couple of weeks because of things that happened. And so that was rocky, and we were eliminated very quickly,” she said, specifying that she partnered with this celebrity after her win with Bobby Bones.
After Bobby Bones, Sharna only had two partners: Jesse Metcalfe and Brian Austin Green. So it was pretty obvious who she meant.
At the time, DWTS fans thought Sharna Burgess and the Desperate Housewives actor had electrifying chemistry. But apparently, everything wasn’t so rosy behind the scenes.
Sharna and Jesse finished in 12th place out of 15 couples back in Season 29. The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev won the Mirrorball Trophy that year.
“If she is referring to a time where our client Jesse Metcalfe worked with Ms. Burgess four years ago, the only recollection was that they didn’t get along. Vague insinuations are not only reckless but also irrelevant,” Jesse Metcalfe’s representatives told TV Line in response.
DWTS moves to Tuesday nights for Season 32
However Sharna Burgess feels about Jesse Metcalfe, that’s all in the past. Now, fans are excited to learn more about the upcoming 32nd season. Sharna isn’t returning, but will no doubt cheer on her friends and fellow dancers.
This year, DWTS will air on Tuesday nights instead of Mondays, so don’t forget to tune in.
