‘DWTS’ Season 32 Schedule Change & Premiere Date Unveiled
On Tuesday, September 12, a DWTS (Dancing With the Stars) Season 32 schedule change and the premiere date were unveiled. Fans are very excited about the season ahead and know it’s coming soon. Slowly but surely, fans have learned several details about the new season. Replacing Tyra Banks as Alfonso Ribeiro’s co-host is Julianne Hough. A few contestants, including Ariana Madix (Vanderpump Rules), Charity Lawson (The Bachelorette), and Jamie Lynn Spears (Zoey 101, Zoey 102, and Sweet Magnolia) have been confirmed. The judges’ table is made up of Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. After Len Goodman’s retirement and death, the show will not be adding a fourth judge.

On Tuesday, September 12, a huge change was announced ahead of the new season premiere. For the past 16 years, fans have tuned into the show on Monday evenings. This season, there’s a major shakeup to the scheduling. Now, the show will be airing on Tuesday evenings instead.
This is likely due to scheduling conflicts on ABC on Mondays and throughout the rest of the week. With DWTS previously airing on Disney+, the series’ original ABC day and timeslot may not have been available any longer. Due to the ongoing WGA SAG-AFTRA strike, ABC is focusing heavily on unscripted series this fall, including Golden Bachelor.

Along with the news of the competition show being moved to Tuesdays came the official premiere date. On Tuesday, September 26 at 8/7c, the contestants will take the stage for the first time to begin a tough competition.
Viewers have a couple of options for watching DWTS. New episodes air on ABC and are also streaming simultaneously on Disney+. The show’s previous move to Disney+ was not well-received by fans, so now, DWTS viewers have a choice. It’s also available to stream on-demand on Hulu the following day if you miss the live show.
