Sharna Burgess Shares Sweet Baby Zane Moments — See Pics!
Dancing With The Stars fans are a little disappointed that Sharna Burgess won’t make it back for Season 31. After initially joining the cast, she dropped out in late August to devote more time to her baby son. However, the Australian dancer promised she would still be involved in some capacity.
But in the meantime, she’s more than happy to show off new photos of baby Zane online. And fans can’t believe how much he’s grown already!
Sharna Burgess soaks up snuggles with baby Zane on Instagram
Sharna Burgess gave birth to her baby boy at the end of June and said she was so ready to get back to dancing. While the dancer insists that she’s perfectly healthy, it’s just not the right time for her to return to Dancing With The Stars. Fans will definitely miss her this fall, but they understand.
But the good news is that Sharna will happily share photos of Zane!
“Took our morning ritual selfie and I actually gasped. Someone has had a serious growth spurt (or at least his head has lol) and Im not well. I didn’t even notice till I saw it on the screen. 😭 he is clearly not listening when I tell him to slow down…” Sharna captioned her sweet Instagram post. “Side note.. this kid finds a camera as well as his Mama does. 😂👏🏼👏🏼”
Plenty of Sharna’s friends and fans flooded the comments section to say how adorable baby Zane was. Without a doubt, he looks just like his father Brian Austin Green.
Although Sharna’s posts featuring Zane are limited, she does regularly upload cute videos and photos to her Instagram stories. There’s definitely no shortage of baby content to go around.

Other dancers put familial duties ahead of the ballroom
Sharna Burgess isn’t the only dancer who decided to sit out this year. Season 25 champion Lindsay Arnold is also taking a step back from the program to focus on her little girl, Sage. Like Sharna, Lindsay ultimately decided that her child needed to come before her dancing career — no matter how badly she did want to return.
However, it seems like this won’t be the end for either woman. Both have adamantly said that DWTS still holds a special place in their hearts and they might like to return in future seasons. It just isn’t right in Season 31.
Dancing With The Stars Season 31 will premiere on Disney+ starting September 19. This cast definitely has a lot of diverse celebrity contestants, so fans are excited to see what will happen. Don’t forget to set your timers and check back for the latest updates on the dancers and participants!
