What Is Taken In Montana?

Taken In Montana is about two parents who go missing while on vacation. Here is what Lifetime says about the movie:

“When her parents go missing on their family vacation, teen Regan must put the clues together to find them — but she may be trusting the wrong people to help, putting herself in danger. Veronica Ramirez, Laurie Fortier, Justin Berti, Matthew Pohlkamp star. (2023)”

It is available to watch tonight at 7 p.m. CST on Lifetime and will be available to stream on Lifetime tomorrow if you miss it tonight. This movie stars Veronica Ramirez, Laurie Fortier, Justin Berti, Matthew Pohlkamp, Carl Bailey, Abner Lozano, and Cameron Richter.

As the preview above shows, they went on a family vacation and didn’t think it was a bad idea. It turns out that it wasn’t as good of an idea as planned.

Is It Based On A True Story?

No, it turns out that Taken In Montana is not based on a true story even though it sounds like it could be. It does say that it was inspired by actual events, but doesn’t say what events. So it isn’t based on an actual story, but something that happened did inspire the writing of this movie. Brandi Sperry actually wrote this film and it is her first one. You will enjoy it and she will prove that it won’t be her last for sure.

Even though it is not based on a true story, it does seem like one that could be. This is the kind of crazy story that just could happen. What story do you think inspired this one?
