‘Masked Singer’ Star To Join ‘DWTS?’
From one competition to another, is it possible that a Masked Singer alum will be part of Dancing With The Stars Season 32?
The full DWTS Season 32 cast list will come out on Good Morning America soon, but fans are already speculating about this year’s lineup. And one publication has shared some very interesting information about a potential competitor.

Insiders reveal one Masked Singer star may slide into the DWTS ballroom
Bravo and Cocktails alleged they received an email hinting about the identity of a Season 32 contestant.
“DWTS. Former singing competition finalist (male) is in talks to be partnered with a male dancer. It’s still tentative as he’s not fully sold on the idea of another competition show so soon after the last one, but his team is pushing for it,” the email reportedly read.
No one can be certain until the big announcement on GMA next week. But some fans seemed to think that singer David Archuleta would be a likely guess.
David Archuleta famously finished in second place on American Idol Season 7. Most recently, he appeared as the “Macaw” on The Masked Singer Season 9, where he finished in second place again. Could this be the year he attempts a dancing competition instead?
He certainly meets the criteria for the email that Bravo and Cocktails reportedly received. On top of that, David Archuleta identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community, so it would also make sense for him to have a male partner. JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson were the first same-sex DWTS couple back in Season 30.
Professional dancer Gleb Savchenko previously mentioned that he would love to dance with a male partner. In Season 31, he competed with drag performer Shangela who dressed as a woman during the competition but lives as a male in their personal life. It’s entirely possible that Gleb would be a good match for David Archuleta if he did join DWTS.
Contestant availability may be limited due to ongoing strikes
Due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, many fans suspect that DWTS Season 32 will be comprised mostly of reality stars, singers, and any other famous people who aren’t part of the unions. As a singer, David Archuleta would certainly be a great candidate.
However, the alleged email did report that the contestant in question had cold feet. It’s unknown whether or not the mystery celebrity will commit to DWTS, which is a months-long competition.
