‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Says Kody Made Her Want To Vomit
Kody Brown has said a lot of controversial things on Sister Wives and the most recent has Meri Brown wanting to vomit. The moment came in a sneak peek for this weekend’s episode when Kody was talking to his friends about the positives of being in a polygamist marriage. One of the biggest positives really rubbed Meri Brown the wrong way when she heard what he said.

What did Kody Brown say that bothered Meri on Sister Wives?
Kody Brown was talking to his friends about his polygamist marriage in the sneak peek for this weekend’s episode. He wanted to let them know how great it is to have multiple wives. However, one of his big reasons was enough to make one of his wives sick when she heard what he said. He basically said it was easier to run away from a wife during a fight when he had more wives he could go to.
This happened during a time that Janelle Brown jokingly called “Testosterone Tuesday,” where Kody could get away from all his wives for one night to spend some time with his guy friends. This weekend’s episode shows one of these guy nights and Kody is talking to them about having multiple wives. He said there is one really good point to it. Kody said it “dilutes personalities” (see the sneak peek at Us Weekly).
This was almost an insult to his wives. He said in the sneak peek that if one of the wives is “really cantankerous and I don’t enjoy her” he can just leave and go to another wife. This allows him to get away from her for a little bit. He claimed this was a good thing for both of them because if he gets “cantankerous,” she can also take off and spend time with one of the other wives. He said this gives them a break from each other.
The wives took this in different ways. In the sneak peek, Janelle heard what Kody said about this and said he “hit it on the nose.” However, Meri Brown was not happy when she heard it. “That kind of comment just makes me want to vomit,” Meri said. She said Kody should look at the bigger picture and figure out how to work together rather than just try to “escape.”

Christine Brown left Kody last season on Sister Wives. This season, both Janelle and Meri Brown leave as well. For Meri, she seems happy to have left, saying that she refuses to “live in a cage” anymore like the one Kody put her in. Meri admitted in the previews for this weekend’s episode that she always felt like the “third wheel” in the marriage.
There are some thoughts that Meri and Kody’s marriage ended because of Leon. Part of the split came after Meri’s catfishing incident. However, it sounds like Kody didn’t support Leon Brown’s transition and this finally severed the relationship between Kody and Meri.

I’m with American on this. It comes across as bragging to his buds at the expense of his wives. I’ve ondered why Meri hasn’t left him years ago. She’s been settling for a marriage without a relationship when she just might be able to have both.
