‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Tears Into Mark After He Criticizes Her
Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark take a break from Live with Kelly and Mark but there are prerecorded episodes and this week, she tore into her husband after he criticized her phone habits. Clearly irritated, she wanted him to just stop talking about her. So what went down? Did she lose it with him in a flash of temper? Scroll down to find out.
Kelly Ripa And Mark Clash On Live with Kelly And Mark?
There’s usually a lot of banter on the talk show, but sometimes a bit of friction seeps through between the two hosts. For instance, she got really sarcastic with him when they talked about how he hated attending the school “meet the teacher” events. Sometimes, it’s hard to know if they are joking or not. However, when she snarked at him by saying, “Oh, did that annoy you? The one time that you attended that?” she seemed to call him out as not being there for the kids.
On another occasion, Kelly Ripa got cozy with another actor on the set of Generation Gap and Mark didn’t look too pleased. Mind you, it was just a photo op and nothing got too handsy. However, when he busted them by arriving early for the commercial gap, some folks thought that he gave off an aura of irritation. Mostly, though, it’s probably worked out beforehand. They might be live but they will likely pre-determine some stuff.
Live Kelly Ripa Gets Ripped For ‘Phubbing’
In the episode, which addressed a bad social habit, the couple chatted about “phubbing.” The Sun noted that the term means “regularly snubbing your partner to look at your phone.” He said to his wife, You know when someone’s on their phone, and they’re not looking at you or giving you direct answers? That’s called phubbing.” However, he didn’t leave it there. In fact, he claimed that she also does it.
Kelly Ripa fired back at him accusing him of not being responsible. She said, “And when I phub, it’s because I am responding to the 38 to 50 group email that you and I both get, that you don’t respond to.” Then, the ABC talk show host grumbled, “So, somebody has to answer these people.” Next, he accused her of doing “busy work.” Obviously, he pushed it too far as far as the audience went because they actually booed him.
Tearing Into Mark Consuelos
Kelly Ripa freaked out and looked grim. Then she said, “I am going to encourage you to shut it, because, nobody is a bigger offender than you.”
