Over the years, fans have picked up on several hints that Joy Forsyth’s education might have been lacking. For example, she often has misspellings and grammatical errors in her social media posts. Now, she’s made another mistake and it’s one she’s made before. Fans believe it’s a bigger deal than a simple grammatical error.

On YouTube on Friday, Joy published a new video about her son, Gunner’s growth. The baby boy arrived in May 2023 and is growing up quickly! However, in the title of her YouTube video, the mom of three spelled his name as Gunnar instead of Gunner. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time it’s happened. As we reported before, Joy has embarrassingly misspelled her son’s name in another video.
Below, you can see Joy’s Instagram post in which she shared her son’s name back in May. The spelling they used is Gunner. The second snap is of their YouTube video title within 20 minutes of it being published. At that time, it said Gunnar. In the third photo, you can see that Joy has now changed the title to the correct spelling of her son’s name. However, the video description still includes the misspelled name.

On Reddit, fans and critics are discussing this blunder. One said, “Her kitchen table ‘education’ simply failed her.” Someone else pointed out that Gunnar is technically the correct spelling of the name and said, “She accidentally spelled it correctly. The horror.” However, Joy and Austin chose the Gunner spelling.
Others are pointing out that Joy recently opened up about her older son Gideon’s dyslexia diagnosis. Some fans think Joy might also have dyslexia, which could explain Gunner’s name misspelling. One fan commented, “My dad has dyslexia and spells my name wrong on occasion as well.”
Joy Forsyth hasn’t explained what went wrong or why her son’s name was misspelled. It’s possible that she hired someone to edit and publish her YouTube videos, and maybe they are responsible for the mix-up. Fans hope Joy knows how to correctly spell her son’s name though.
