Counting On alum Jason Duggar hasn’t posted anything for a year. The reason behind his sudden absence is unclear. Though he’s often spotted in recent Duggar family get-togethers. There are also speculations that he may be busy courting someone. Until recently, the 23-year-old son of Jim Bob finally returned online. However, something may have changed about how he sees life today.
Counting On: Jason Duggar’s Courtship Rumors
Jason has been rumored to be linked to Claire Langon. It all started when some fans started seeing photos of them looking so close to each other. At one point, the two were spotted at a Langdon wedding standing next to each other with Jana beside them. Some Counting On fans are convinced that they’re courting at this point. Others aren’t surprised by a Duggar-Langdon courtship, as they’ve been family friends for a long time.
Jason Changing His Lifestyle?
Jason recently returned to Instagram to share what he’s been up to after a long online absence. According to the Counting On alum, he’s been busy taking a deep dive into the Book of Jonah. He also took the opportunity to encourage his followers to read the Bible and stay in God’s words. Additionally, the former TLC star talked about “denial of the flesh,” which means denying oneself from certain pleasures, which is something that he appears to have done over the past few months with James and their friends.
Counting On: Jason & James Duggar’s Lack Of Adventures
Jason’s decision to focus more on reading the Bible may have played a significant role in why he hasn’t been with his brother, James. The 22-year-old Duggar also wiped out his YouTube channel for unknown reasons. Though it’s possible that he’s now following the path of his older sibling and staying away from worldly activities to focus more on their faith.
Several Duggars have been quiet on social media for quite some time. Some Counting On fans believe that the online negativity forced them to step away, especially with all the books and documentaries being released against them and the IBLP.
