Brittany Cartwright Breaks Silence On No Pay For Season 4
Jax Taylor starred in Vanderpump Rules before Brittany Cartwright joined him on Season 4 of the Bravo show and now she claims that she didn’t get paid and she initially struggled financially. Nowadays, her life turned around and they live in Los Angeles in a nice home but it wasn’t always a life of luxury.

Season 8 saw the end of Jax and his wife on the Bravo show. Actually, a lot of heads rolled when Faith Stowers claimed the cast acted in a racially insensitive manner. However, Jax always claimed they left because they wanted to, not because of a firing. For a long time, he claimed that they would return to TV. However, they only made it back in front of the cameras thanks to Tom Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss. In the meantime, they welcomed their baby, Cruz Cauchi, and recently, they started a new business.
Brittany Cartwright and Jax got Bravo fans a bit excited when they launched their own podcast When Reality Hits. Actually, the artwork was so good, that fans thought they made a reality TV show come true. On August 11, she and Jax started talking about their income from the earlier days. Now, it’s becoming clear that the cast certainly didn’t get wealthy off the show from the get-go. Financial hardship for the girl from Kentucky was particularly difficult.
Brittany Cartwright Claims No Pay For Season 4?
Jax got chatting with his wife on their podcast about all sorts of things. His mother-in-law, Sherri joined the couple and she seems happy with her daughter’s husband. Between them, they discussed the chances of a sibling for little Cruz, and whether they might one day relocate to Kentucky and take up farm life. The interesting bit came then they started talking about money matters.
Brittany Cartwright claimed that months of travel to see Jax for filming cost her an arm and leg. Actually, she did get paid some cash, but only after months of being flat-broke. She said, “I didn’t get paid my first season of Vanderpump Rules… until the very, very end. I was broke.” Sighing, she recalled, “It took a lot out of me.” Jax interjected and reminded listeners that his girlfriend at that time didn’t have a flash job and she didn’t earn a huge amount of money. Somehow, she needed to find in the region of “$800” to “$900” each time she made the trip.
Other Cast Only Got A Little Bit Of Money
Brittany Cartwright wasn’t alone in earning a small amount of pay when she started on the show. US Weekly reported that Kristen Doute said, “It was $5,000 and if we became a primary, we got an additional $5,000.” These days, all of the cast members seem to be reasonably well-off, including Jax and his wife.
