Big Brother | Youtube

It’s still the very start of Big Brother and already fans have been a part of a wild ride. After getting kicked out of the house for using a racial slur, Luke Valentine is now defending his actions and not taking much responsibility at all. Keep reading to find out all the details on the scandal so far and who he is throwing the blame at for his exit.

Big Brother Luke Valentine blames his twin

After just a few days in the Big Brother house, houseguest Luke Valentine slipped up and used a racial slur in conversation. He was with Hisam, Corey, and Jared, the only black man in the house when he casually made the mistake. In the moment, Luke didn’t seem to think much of it and went on with his time in the house. In fact, in an interview, he even went on to say that he “slept like a baby” that night.

However, Big Brother had to punish him for his actions and decided to remove him from the house and the season. Now that he is out of the house, he seems to have a lot to say. The former houseguest is claiming it wasn’t actually him who said the racial slur. Instead, it was his twin brother, Duke.

In the past, Big Brother has been known to do several twists throughout the season. One of those twists is the twin twist. During this twist, a set of twins enters the house. However, only one of them can play at a time. So, the two siblings have to keep each other filled in, swap in and out of the house, and keep their game seamless enough to fly under the radar. Eventually, if they make it far enough, both twins can enter the house as their own players.

By claiming it was his twin that said the racial slur, Luke might have confirmed fans’ suspicions that this could’ve been a twist this year.

“That was my twin. That was Duke,” Luke said. “I don’t even know what word he used. I never used that word in my life,” he continues according to Dexerto.

Shouldn’t have been kicked out?

Of course, that’s not the only outlandish thing Luke has said since leaving the house. Not only did Luke blame someone else for his shortcoming. He also claims he did not even expect such a slip-up to send him home. Furthermore, he says that those he has spoken to also thought Big Brother acted too harshly and quickly when asking him to leave the house.
