‘Unexpected’ When Is Season 6 Coming?
When is Season 6 of TLC’s hit reality series Unexpected finally coming back? It has been a long wait for fans of the teen pregnancy show which last aired in June 2022. Now, it has been over a year and viewers are getting antsy. So, has a release date been set? Read on for more details.
Unexpected When Is Season 6 Coming?
Season 5 of Unexpected ended with fans frustrated but happy. They saw Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi leave and return to the stage at the reunion several times. Yet, his parents almost approved of this behavior. All of the mothers and grandmothers wanted better for Kylen as they saw how Jenna Ronan was thriving. She had ditched her baby daddy, Aden, and was glowing. The confidence she exuded was what they wanted for all of the struggling young girls. Eventually, rumors started to circulate about the next season. Tiarra Boisseau shared that she and her family would not be coming back.
Emersyn Potter wanted to return but that did not happen. Jenna Ronan and Lilly Bennett as well as two newcomers will be on Season 6 of Unexpected which wrapped a few months back. So, when will it come to TLC? A Reddit thread was started to inquire about this. The OP wrote this: “I’ve been hearing some time in August but haven’t heard anything? I’m excited to see the new couples. I’m kind of disappointed that Jenna and Lilly are back on though. They’re both as dumb as a box of rocks and it’s just hard to watch.”
So, what did other Redditors have to say about these two returning plus when they believed the new season would be coming back? After all, it is midway through August so if the show were to be back this month, there would have been some sort of announcement. One felt that they might be taking time to cover Jenna’s second pregnancy. Another felt that they would leave off with the announcement but it appears the last big event will be Lilly and Lawrence’s wedding.
Not These Two
Redditors were also not happy with the choice to bring Lilly Bennett and Jenna Ronan back for Season 6 of Unexpected. They do not care for these two ladies and had no problems expressing this. “Jenna annoys me but I think she’s a good mom. Lilly is my least favorite out of everyone, she thinks she knows everything but knows nothing at all,” one wrote. Another chimed in with: “Jenna is so cringe that it hurts my brain to watch. and Lilly is just brain dead.” So, it will be interesting to see if the new couples can keep the fans engaged.
