‘The Challenge’ Alyssa Snider & Tyler Crispen Showmance Brewing
It wouldn’t be reality TV without a showmance brewing, and now, fans are curious to know if The Challenge stars, Alyssa and Tyler are dating. It seems like they might have a rather steamy connection that may have carried outside the game.
The Challenge showmance brewing?
The Challenge brings together former reality TV stars and forces them to compete in extreme competitions to avoid being sent home. Season 2 of the US version of the show just premiered this week, and Big Brother fans were excited to see a few former houseguests on the show. Two of those houseguests include Tyler Crispen and Alyssa Snider.
Fans of BB know that both Tyler and Alyssa were in heavy showmances. In fact, Alyssa went through a lot of drama by being in a showmance with fellow houseguest Kyle. Unfortunately, neither Alyssa nor Kyle made it too far in the game or their relationship as Kyle often struggled to juggle his showmance and his alliance.
Meanwhile, Tyler ended up in a very serious relationship with his fellow houseguest Angela. Angela and Tyler were actually able to make it to the final four together before Angela went home and Tyler earned second.
Despite both of these contestants potentially losing Big Brother thanks to a showmance, they seem to have not learned their lesson. Now that they are both on The Challenge Season 2, it seems that they are pretty drawn to each other. In fact, according to Screenrant, the pair actually started dating after getting into a showmance during the show.
“Alyssa Snider & Tyler have been hooking up on #TheChallengeUSA2,” a tweet says.
However, it may not be all smooth sailing. Interestingly enough, in the comments, someone mentioned that Tyler already had someone else back home during filming.
“Streets saying Tyler had someone back at home he was seeing too (& I ooop?),” they write. So, it will be interesting to see how that plays out once the rumors start to spread.
Meanwhile, others find this standard showmance plot boring and predictable.
“Predictable 😂, ” one person writes.
“OMFG GET THEM OUT,” another adds.
How will a showmance work?
Of course, Big Brother and The Challenge have their differences, however, in both a showmance can either help or hurt a contestant. It will be interesting to see if they are both able to keep their game a priority over their showmance. Or, if they will accidentally get distracted by each other and end up throwing their game.
