‘Today’ Al Roker Gone, Wife Reveals Focusing On Bigger Things
Today Show meteorologist Al Roker is gone but his wife, Deborah Roberts shares that he is focusing on bigger things. Roker had been gone on and off due to health problems. Despite the fact that Al Roker struggled with his health, he has come back better than ever. More so, he has had some excitement over the last several months. It has all been positive like him becoming a grandfather to Sky Clara. Seeing him with his granddaughter is pure magic and truly has helped to heal him. Now, he has gone missing from Today and, of course, fans want to know where he is. Is he okay? Never fear as his wife Deborah Roberts, an anchor over at ABC, has nothing but good things to share about her husband and his time away.
According to The Sun, Al Roker’s absence was easily explained. He and Roberts had headed to Martha’s Vineyard for the African American Film Festival. There, Roker’s documentary, Gaining Ground The Fight for Black Land, was shown and his wife was so proud of her man. As they were headed to the festival, Deborah Roberts shared her excitement on Instagram. “Sunday celebration. So very proud of my guy, @alroker who is championing the efforts and struggles of the dwindling numbers of black US farmers to hold onto their family land and stay in business,” she started.
Roberts continued: “His new award winning documentary, Gaining Ground The Fight for Black Land, is gaining traction and featured at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. This production is moving , educational and urgent. You must see it! Congratulations Al. Well done!” Along with that, she shared a handful of fun photos of the two cruising along with Al Roker in a salmon-colored polo shirt. For her part, she wore a big hat, oversized sunnies, and a white and blue striped sundress that showed off her perfect body.
When Will He Be Back?
Fortunately, he only missed Monday, August 7th but was soon back to delivering the weather. As for Deborah Roberts, she shared that she is already off on her next adventure for ABC. Roker is also playing chef for the couple’s son but was saddened that he only had a few more days to cook for him. So, it seems that he is just enjoying all of the good things in his life.

Al Roker is the epitome of a extradentary human being. Just watching him doing what he did best, Al showed America that being professional does not stop being a man of many talents. I see Al as a Uncle I had that is kind, loving, talented especially his cooking skills etc. . An the fact he have been a beacon to everyone that witness his journey and adventure.
