Tammy Slaton’s Divorce Was In Process When Caleb Willingham Died
According to The Sun, a source close to Tammy and Caleb confirms the TLC personality was in the process of filing for divorce when he passed away. Tammy Slaton reportedly made the difficult decision to leave Caleb despite having love for him because he was slipping up in the weight loss program and she wasn’t willing to risk being dragged down with him. Just two months ago, the same source also told The Sun that Tammy’s legal team had things all lined up to file for divorce.
Shockingly, it was Caleb who first put the divorce on the table after the two got into a heated argument. Caleb Willingham later realized he made a mistake and tried to take it back. Tammy, however, decided to take him up on it and started to get things lined up to end their marriage.
Here’s what the source told The Sun:
They split up because Caleb hasn’t been following his diet in rehab. He has gained 30 lbs and hasn’t been working his program. They got into a big fight over it and he told her he wanted a divorce, but then he tried to backtrack.
The source confirms Caleb fought to hold onto Tammy. Her sisters, however, encouraged her to leave him. The source confirmed to The Sun that Tammy Slaton was in the process of getting divorced when Caleb Willingham passed away. It, however, does not sound like the paperwork had been finalized.
