Is ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Pat Sajak Replacement Vanna White?

Who will replace Pat Sajak as the new Wheel of Fortune host is a question many are desperate for an answer to.

This week was kicked off with SHOCKING Wheel of Fortune news as Pat Sajak revealed his decision to retire after four decades as host of the game show. While fans of the game show were understandably devastated, Pat Sajak had warned in prior interviews the end of his time with the game show was drawing near. Moreover, Pat Sajak is also 76 years old. He’s been working as an iconic game show host for more than half of his life. And, his fans can’t argue he has certainly earned the chance to retire and relax.

The only real question fans of Wheel of Fortune have is simple: Who will attempt to step into Pat Sajak’s shoes as the new host?

Replacing A Long-Standing Game Show Host Is A Challenge

As fans of Jeopardy! will recall, it wasn’t easy to replace Alex Trebek either. In fact, his shoes were so hard to fill that a decision was made for Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik to share the hosting position. Both Mayim and Ken have very openly admitted they will never be able to replace the great Alex. But, they do their best to honor the legacy he left behind in their roles as co-hosts. 

Now, back when Pat first warned his retirement was coming, he did make it clear he did NOT want Wheel of Fortune to end simply because he was retiring. He wanted to see the game show continue to succeed with someone new stepping into those hosting shoes. The question remains: Who will fans of this long-standing game show accept as a replacement for the great Pat Sajak? Turns out, some fans of the game show believe there is already a PERFECT host lined up for the position.

Perfect Replacement For Pat Sajak Already Lined Up?

Vanna White has loyally stood on that Wheel of Fortune stage for a very long time. She knows how the game works better than anyone (outside of Pat). Moreover, she’s also had a front-row seat for years to the way Pat Sajak has hosted the game. So, most Wheel of Fortune fans are in agreement there really isn’t a better option for the new game show host than Vanna White.

Unfortunately, Vanna White has also tossed around the idea of retiring around more than a few times. She is, however, a decade younger than Sajak. And, viewers think she would make a great replacement for Pat Sajak if she was interested in the position.
