Captain Lee Returning With New Show After ‘Below Deck’ Ouster
Captain Lee Rosbach was not happy about how he left Below Deck. Yet, the good news is that he is returning to Bravo with a brand-new TV show. While the boat captain felt he was pushed out before he was ready to leave, it sounds like he not only will be back on your TVs soon, but he will bring some familiar faces with him.
Here is what you need to know about Captain Lee’s future on Bravo.
Captain Lee returning to Bravo with new show
Captain Lee learned the hard way that his time on Below Deck had come to an end. He said that he left the show for health reasons, but he planned to return. However, Bravo called him and said his time on the show had come to an end. As a result, it seemed that the captain was being benched and his career had come to an end. However, this might not be the cast after all.
Captain Lee said that he had new projects with Bravo and one of them was “coming soon.” He also said he was “nowhere close to retired” and he remains connected with the network for what sounds like a brand-new show. “We’ve got two or three projects that are in the works. One of them should be coming out pretty soon,” Lee said.
Captain Lee also teased that the new projects could include some familiar faces from the Below Deck franchise. “I’m excited to do it. I really am. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ve got some great people that I’m going to be working with,” Captain Lee said, although he also added he wouldn’t reveal their names. One name that the interviewer suggested was Kate Chastain. Rosbach just smirked and said, “You never know.”
Captain Lee was not happy about how Below Deck ended for him
Captain Lee spoke out about the end of his time on Below Deck. He didn’t seem happy about the way it ended. Rosbach left the show early in Season 10 because of health issues. This led Captain Sandy from Below Deck Med to come in and take his place. Lee planned to return to the show, but that never happened and he said Bravo called him to say they wanted to move in a different direction.
In a recent interview, Captain Lee made it clear he wasn’t happy about it. He said “a different direction” is an overused, tired cliche. He said he has never quit anything in his life, and he wanted to come back and finish the show on his own terms. While he didn’t get that chance, it looks like Bravo didn’t want to lose the captain. He will now get a new show, and maybe get to go out on his own terms this time around.
