Kelly Clarkson Reveals Who Decided To Move Show To NYC
Kelly Clarkson is speaking out and revealing who decided to move her show The Kelly Clarkson Show to New York City. Kelly recently dealt with some bad accusations against her show as well, but that wasn’t the reason for the move.
Accusations Against The Kelly Clarkson Show
The Kelly Clarkson Show recently had some accusations against it that Kelly had to defend. The show was accused of having a toxic environment behind the scenes by people who no longer worked on the show and one person who was still there. They did admit that they didn’t think Kelly knew about it, though. Kelly said that she was committed to making sure it was a “safe and healthy environment” to work in. The Big Decision To Move To NYC
Us Magazine shared that Kelly Clarkson is revealing that it was totally her decision to move the show to New York City. Kelly explained that she has known since January. Here is what she had to say.
“I haven’t actually been able to talk about this a lot. I talked to my crew back in January through tears because I have built such an amazing group of people. Obviously, we’ve been very successful and I love everybody I work with and we have such great relationships. I was like, ‘Guys I need you to know what’s happening. It’s either I’m not going to be able to continue with the show or I got to go the East Coast.”
The main reason for this decision was Kelly Clarkson wanting to be close to her family. They are on the east coast and she needed to make that move from California to NYC. She was looking for a fresh start for her and her children so this move is a way for them to get just that. Clarkson shares daughter River Rose, 8, and son Remington, 7, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. Kelly owns a ranch in Montana and she knew that the show couldn’t be filmed from there. Branson also has a home in Montana. This sounds like it is the next best thing for her to move the show to NYC.
