Who Is Alexis Warr’s ‘DWTS’ Dream Partner?
The Dancing With The Stars producers are searching for Season 32 competitors right now — so who does Alexis Warr want to dance with?
The 22-year-old dancer is hoping to rejoin the cast this fall and can’t wait to see who competes. Although she was a troupe member last year, she did get a chance to dance with Joseph Baena for two episodes.
But if Alexis Warr could pick her own celebrity contestant, she has someone very special on her wish list.
Alexis Warr definitely appreciates fun contestants
There have been many different types of Dancing With The Stars contestants over the years. Some competitors are fun to watch, while others don’t quite connect with viewers at home.
But if anyone asks Alexis Warr, it seems like she would really prefer to have a specific comedian as her partner.
“You know what the first thing that comes to mind? I have no idea if this will even be possible, but I just watched the new Super Mario Bros. Movie. Very nostalgic, everything,” the So You Think You Can Dance champion told The Sun. “And I’m just obsessed with Jack Black! And if they could get Jack Black on the show, I would be dying. Like it would be so crazy!”
Alexis went on to say that she thinks the actor could hold his own in the ballroom, noting his performance in School of Rock. But no matter who the producers cast this fall, Alexis is excited to watch the competition unfold.
DWTS Season 32 could feature many new pro dancers too
Although Alexis Warr still hasn’t made her debut as a pro dancer yet, she’s no stranger to the Dancing With The Stars stage. She’s been on multiple tours with the pros and made the troupe last fall. When Daniella Karagach had to sit out due to illness, Alexis stepped up to the plate and filled in.
So could this be her first year as a pro?
“Yeah, I really hope to one day be a pro and who knows if it’s this season or a possible season in the future, but I’m just trying to enjoy each moment and if it comes, amazing, and if it doesn’t, it’s not meant to be, but I’m just trying to trust the process,” Alexis told The Sun. “I would really love to be given that opportunity. And I also know it probably depends on what celebrities they get and there’s so many factors that play into it.”
Long-time pro Cheryl Burke retired at the end of Season 31 and there are several dancers who gave birth this year. Some of those dancers could return, but one or two may decide to sit out to focus on their families. If so, there would be many spots available for Alexis Warr to join the pro cast.
