Alfonso Ribeiro & Family Suffer From Frightening Accident
Today, Alfonso Ribeiro and his entire family are very thankful after experiencing a terrifying accident.
Yesterday, both the Dancing With The Stars judge and his wife Angela posted about an incident that happened during a family event. Thankfully, everyone is alive. But the Ribeiros will probably be shaken up for a little while at least.

Alfonso Ribeiro has four children in total. He has a 20-year-old daughter named Sienna from his first marriage. He then went on to marry his current wife Angela, with whom he shares Alfonso Jr., 9; Anders, 8; and Ava, 4.
Fans that follow Alfonso and Angela online can frequently see the fun family activities they share together. But after one gathering this week, the entire family is counting their lucky stars.
The Ribeiro’s youngest child Ava just turned four. And what was supposed to be a joyful occasion soon turned into panic and fear. Both Angela and Alfonso posted about the situation in the aftermath.
“My poor baby. I woke up and had a vision/motherly intuition of Ava ending up in the ER today. I announced to the fam, kids, sitter & friends helping out getting ready for Ava’s birthday party that ‘we are not doing anything crazy or dangerous today that could potentially end up with an ER visit,’” Angela began her Instagram post.
The mother of three went on to say that she made everyone “lock eyes” with her as they agreed to play safely. But once the party started, everyone began having a great time and put Angela’s words out of their mind. Soon after, Ava was playing on a sit-down scooter and crashed.

In Angela’s photo, little Ava has multiple wounds all over her body. Based on the post, it didn’t appear that her life was in danger. However, the crash definitely looked like it hurt quite a bit.
“A big thank you to Dr. Raffy at @kareskinmd for seeing us after hours and performing a procedure to hopefully eventually have little scaring on her face and arms,” she continued. “Not a fun way to spend your last day as a 3-year old, but she was a trooper. Giving this sweet girl some extra cuddles tonight.💔”
Fans and loved ones flooded the comments section to leave words of encouragement for the family.
“Ohhhh nooo!! That looks like it hurts. Sending her all my love & prayers & positive healing vibes for a speedy recovery. ❤️🩹✨” Mark Ballas’ wife BC Jean wrote.
“Omg I’m so sorry,” Daniella Karagach added. “Sending Ava healing energy🙏 praying for a speedy recovery 🥺💜”
It wasn’t the best way to spend a birthday, but the family is just thankful things weren’t worse.
